technology & transformation strategist

Twenty-five years navigating the gap between new technology and how organisations actually work.

Information management, blockchain, digital governance and now agentic AI — always the same job underneath: reading where a technology is really headed, and helping people get there without breaking what already works.

Where he adds value

N — Technology strategy

Seeing it before it's obvious

Spotting emerging technology early, then turning it into a proposition or proof-of-concept an organisation can actually evaluate — not just a slide deck about the future.

E — Transformation

Information management & change

Aligning business and IT, running the transition, and building the governance that keeps new information systems accountable once they're live.

S — AI & information systems

Agentic & document intelligence

Current focus: autonomous systems that analyse, structure and connect complex organisational information — with a strong preference for local, privacy-conscious AI over purely centralised cloud models.

W — Blockchain & governance

Digital identity & trust

Tokenisation, decentralised systems and coordination mechanisms — strategy and delivery for public and private organisations, from tax authorities to fintech scale-ups.

current heading

Agentic information management

Returning from four years offshore with a clear course: implementing AI-enabled, agentic information systems — software that can analyse, structure and connect an organisation's information without needing a human to hold every thread.

The particular interest is local and privacy-conscious AI environments for legal, financial and document-intensive work: autonomous agents that operate under an organisation's own governance rather than by default handing everything to a centralised cloud model.

It's the same thread that has run through two decades of information management and blockchain work — trust, self-sovereignty and coordination — now applied to the next generation of AI systems.
